Searching For Direction is the debut EP released by Speaking With Ghosts, a fresh and energising Metalcore band from Chicago, Illinois.

This 6 track E.P includes collaborations with Garrett Garfield (The New Low) and Adam Warren (Oceano) along with a cover of Linking Parks iconic track Faint.

Speaking With Ghosts endeavoured to create and produce music which is upbeat; crowd-inclusived, entertaining to watch and fun to listen to and it’s safe to say that they’ve been successful in this.

This melodic, metalcore EP is energetic and oozes of passion, combining strong vocals, fast-paced and race-y drum beats along with intricate and enticing guitar riffs. These original tracks will be sure to get your head banging and spirits lifted.

Speaking With Ghosts strive to express a strong and positive message of ‘Shine, Light and Inspire’. They endeavour to be the light in the tunnel for those surrounded by Darkness, stretching a hand out to those who are kicked down and to be a rock for those who are weathering the storm. Their mantra is signified by the lantern incorporated within the album artwork.

These guys have built a strong and loyal network and their efforts appear to be paying off, having spent the duration of 2016, working on their first full length album they have worked alongside Cory Brunnemann (Nonpoint, Upon a Burning Body, Nothing More) and have since collaborated with the Alternative Press for the premiere of their music video for their single ‘The Boy Who Lived’.

Speaking With Ghosts have had the privilege of recording their debut EP with the 2 time Grammy nominated producer Matt Dalton who has previously worked alongside a number of signed artists including Chidos and Pierce The Veil.

Their recent EP is available to stream on Spotify and Bandcamp and if you’re looking for something fresh, with strong melodic roots, I recommend giving their EP a listen.
