Polish black metallers Mastiphal to headline Metal Mass night in London

Just one day prior to the long-awaited Incineration Festival, Old Empire Promotions and The Cult Never Dies are welcoming Polish veterans Mastiphal on the 8th of May 2015 as part of the new monthly Metal Mass concerts in London.

This first Metal Mass night will take place at the Black Heart in Camden. This new monthly event will consist of a gig headlined by cult extreme metal bands and DJ’s delivering only old-school black, death, thrash and heavy metal songs.
In the beginning, Polish black metallers Arkona were meant to headline this event but they have finally been replaced by their compatriots Mastiphal.

Formed in 1991, this horde is best-known for their first blasphemy “For a Glory of All Evil Spirits, Rise for Victory” released in 1995, which has become cult in the underground black metal scene through the years. They’re one of the first black metal bands hailing from Poland along with Behemoth and Graveland. They went on hiatus for 10 years from 1999 to 2009 and then, released their second assault “Parvzya” through the excellent label Witching Hour Productions.

This young English black metal act was formed in 2010 and released their first self-produced album “The Blessing of Annihilation” last year.

In addition to this exclusive show, Dayal Patterson (author of the best-selling book “Black Metal: Evolution of the Cult”) and “guest star” Tchort (Green Carnation and ex-Emperor/Carpathian Forest/Blood Red Throne) will be DJ’s for this Metal Mass club night until 2:00 AM!
