Zakk Wylde, James LaBrie, Chuck Billy, Joey Belladona, Vinny Appice, Dave Ellefson – no this isn’t a game of ‘fantasy band line-up’. This is as close as it gets to the real thing.
On Tuesday 16th December, guitars will rage, horns will be held high, and everyone will have a jolly good time because the Metal All Stars will be in London town, gracing the O2 Academy Brixton in a one-off special event. The show comes as part of the Metal All Stars’ Western European tour.
Put together by Gabe Reed Productions, the premise is all about the music, bringing together legends of metal, regardless of age or sub-genre, to share the stage and bang out some blinding covers of each other’s most famous tracks.
The superstar line-up currently includes:
Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society)
James LaBrie (Dream Theater)
Chuck Billy (Testament)
Joey Belladonna (Anthrax)
David Ellefson (Megadeth)
Gus G. (Firewind, Ozzy Osbourne)
Ross ‘The Boss’ Friedman (Manowar)
Vinny Appice (Dio, Black Sabbath)
Geoff Tate (Queensrÿche)
Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart, Vanilla Fudge)
Kobra Paige (Kobra and The Lotus)
Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie)
with further big names to be added to the bill shortly.
As Zakk Wylde put it: “The Metal All Stars are back and we are going to kick some major ass!”

Come on out and let’s make it a memorable kick ass evening that is going to rock!” Hear more from LaBrie and what might be in store for the show here:
