This is the second album release from French band Les Discrets and after their debut album, “Septembre Et Ses Dernières Pensées,” in 2010, they quickly got recognition in their unique direction and gained a fast fan base.
It is no surprise really seeing as member Fursy was involved bands like Alcest and Amesoeurs and was also responsible for their impressive cover artworks.

There has been high expectations towards Les Discrets new release but I can honestly say I personally am not disappointed and after listening to the album I have to say I loved every track.

This is a beautiful album which consists of many genres but has a slow soft pace throughout and shows Fursy vocal performance shows a big progression in comparison to past recordings, especially as Les Discrets became one of the leading bands of the Post-Black Metal movement.

The tracks are deep and sensitive and has the haunting poetic lyrics of Audrey Hadorn, which make you instantly want to slow down and take in this album and demonstrates a fantastic Post-Rock Metal, and Shoegaze release and one I would listen to late at night to chill out to.

If you’re looking for an album to drive to, to take away the stress or something to listen to late at night and relax, then this is your album!
