On March 3rd 2015, Lamentations of the Ashen, the black metal project of Bon Vincent Fry, will finally unleash its new album Libertine Cyst.
Consisting of 4 epic tracks, Libertine Cyst is a worthy follow up to 2011’s EKIMMV. While Lamentations of the Ashen is commonly tagged as black metal, Libertine Cyst broadens the project’s scope by incorporating more of the doom elements that were experimented with on previous releases.
Praise for past Lamentation of the Ashen releases:
“Bon Fry’s musical vision is so fucking awesome, it makes me want to build the world’s largest speaker so I can blast this album for every known and unknown galaxy to hear.“-Cvlt Nation
If you prefer to fill the quiet hours with something depressive and emotionally charged, Lamentations of the Ashen would be a good journey into the night as well.–Worm Gear Zine
“EKIMMV is great because it reaches out and touches the soul. This is black metal that finds both unending rage and incredible beauty, for true metallers across the globe,”-Two Guys Metal Reviews
“Lamentations Of The Ashen is a cold and restless vision, effectively supported by Fry’s tormented and lacerating scream vocals. This music is able to touch the deepest chords of our soul and destroy every single grain of hope”.–Aristocrazia Zine
