EYEHATEGOD and CROWBAR: Symmetry in Vinyl

Two of the most legendary and heaviest bands of the New Orleans scene have released their new albums the day before yesterday. The self-titled EYEHATEGOD album is their first since “Confederacy Of Ruined Lives” (2000) and offers “fourteen years’ worth of feedback that’ll ring in your ears for eternity” (Metal Hammer UK). CROWBAR celebrates their 25th anniversary with “Symmetry In Black”, and media is hailing the new album as one of best in their entire career.

We got both singers in one room to talk about their favorite music from local Dr. John swamp psych to the Meters’ funk and classic metal, punk and doom. And of course the two buddies got a lot of stories to share – from fellow musicians to criminal acts.
