Moonspell and Black Moth are amongst acts that have been announced for 2016’s Doom Over London VI.
They’ll be joining the already announced Sardonis, Bathsheba, Autumnal, Officium Triste and Malthusian along with Mourning Beloveth and Into The Woods across two days in Tufnell Park, North London.
Formed in 1992, DOL headliners Moonspell have progressed from black metal beginnings to a unique gothic / metal hybrid which has earned the band a rabid and loyal fanbase the world over. Whilst not the obvious choice to top the bill, Moonspell frontman Fernando Ribeiro states that“We are excited as hell to take London over again, to the verge of extinction and the doom’n’darkness emotions and creatures who populate our music… Come and check in your own darkness and help us bring true DOOM OVER LONDON. See you there, the pack is gathering.”
With a line-up that’s expected to grow to 40 bands strong, the festival is expanding on from last year, now set to take over The Dome, Boston Music Rooms and Aces & Eights saloon bar across 26th-27th March.
