Chance to Win King Diamond Custom, Signed Guitar in Metal Hammer; Comes Ahead of King Diamond’s First Indoor UK Show in 15 Years

This summer sees King Diamond headline his first UK indoor show in 15 years. In recognition, Metal Hammer magazine is offering one fan the chance to win a Andy LaRoque Abigail Custom 350F guitar (courtesy of Dean Guitars), which the band will sign when the lucky winner meets them at the upcoming London show on June 21st.

Taking place at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town, the show will sees King Diamond perform the iconic ‘Abigail’ album in its entirety for the first and possibly last time ever in the UK. It’s billed as the most ambitious theatrical horror production by King Diamond to date, and currently his only UK date this year.

King Diamond’s powerful vocals are well recognised in the metal world, both under his own name, and his former band Mercyful Fate. His legions of fans include prominent names, such as Dave Grohl, who invited King Diamond to guest on his Probot album, and Trivium’s Matt Heafy, who he collaborated with on the Roadrunner United project. Metallica have not only covered and performed with King Diamond, but also immortalised him as a playable character in their 2009 video game Guitar Hero: Metallica.
